A crucial topic during a global crisis, cancellation was not an option. Mass General Brigham asked Cramer to partner, and turn their three-day forum into a digital event.

The World Medical Innovation Forum is a global gathering of more than 10,000+ senior healthcare leaders. The annual event was established to respond to the intensifying transformation of healthcare and its impact on innovation. An opportunity for the medical industry to collaborate with academia and government officials around the world, the 2020 Forum focused on Artificial Intelligence, innovation, and their role in the future of medicine and the fight against COVID-19.

How Do the World’s Leading Doctors Participate During a Pandemic?

A crucial topic during a global crisis, cancellation was not an option. Mass General Brigham asked Cramer to turn their three-day forum into a digital event. The challenge? 45+ doctors from throughout the Mass General Brigham System scheduled to speak, couldn’t afford to be away from their patients for long. Cramer accepted that challenge and scouted a space at the Liberty Hotel to broadcast from, a mere two-minute walk from Mass General Hospital. We converted the hotel ballroom into a cubicle-like studio, allowing for individual, physically distant, safe spaces for the speakers to present from, while minimizing time lost at the hospital treating patients. The Cramer crew working at the Liberty Hotel was an essential part of the live broadcast productionpreparing the doctors to speak on the live broadcast.

A second production crew operated out of Cramer’s studio headquarters, serving as the broadcast command center. Cramer housed the feeds from the Liberty Hotel along with the feeds of all the remote speakers, presenting from their home offices. We used these feeds to broadcast live to the 11,000 attendees viewing the event around the world.

“Thanks, Cramer team for partnering on our first virtual WMIF today! Appreciate your professionalism, flexibility and trouble-shooting.”
