Event Marketer and Cramer Discuss What’s Trending in Experiential Marketing

Event Marketer and Cramer discuss how B2B meetings build culture, event layouts are evolving, and the power of content and social engineering.

Online and on newsstands now, you will find Cramer’s recent thinking showcased in the May 2016 edition of Event Marketer’s magazine.

The May issue, released during the Experiential Marketing Summit, also features Event Marketer’s highly regarded, highly anticipated, and highly competitive, perennial It List.

If you ever needed proof that experiential has come into its own as a fully matured marketing discipline (with plenty of room for fresh new faces, of course), this year’s Top 100 might be it,” said Event Marketer.

To make the It List, Event Marketer evaluated, agencies on the creativity, quality, consistency, and caliber of their work. Additionally, the agencies needed to show that they raised the bar and furthered the evolution of the event industry.”

Cramer, who is once again on the prestigious It List, sat down for a roundtable discussion with Event Marketer to talk about the evolutions in the event industry and what’s trending in experiential marketing.

From unpacking the changing strategies driven by this new era of marketing”, and showcasing our take on being a content engineering business,” to forecasting what’s next for social media and technology, our teams covered a range of topics.

A sampling of Event Marketer’s key questions included:

  • How are you rethinking the modern B-to-B event layout?
  • How is technology pushing the content envelope even farther?
  • Where is social media going for your events? What is driving the lift that your clients would be looking for?
  • Are event apps becoming as passé as hashtags?
  • If we have this chat again in a year, what will be different in the experiential space?

The answers to these questions, plus much more, were discussed by Cramer’s President, Rich Sturchio, Executive Creative Director, Mark Wilson, Senior Vice President of Solutions, Brent Turner, and Head of Creative Technology, Lindsay Nie.

You can find the entire discussion featured in Event Marketer’s May 2016 issue or download it from their website.

One More Thing

Event Marketer writes, This was the toughest year to date to be selected for the It List, so let’s give a big round of applause to the 2016 Top 100 Agencies who hustled to hit every mark — and to an industry that has truly hit its stride. Congratulations.”

Moreover, to the teams at Event Marketers, we say: Thank you. Thank you for selecting Cramer to the 2016 It List and for leading our compelling, thought-provoking roundtable. We’ll see you at the Experiential Marketing Summit 2016!
